WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The Leadership Talent Track Trainee Program will prepare you for your future role as a leader at Daimler Truck, Daimler Buses or Daimler Truck Financial Services in various German locations.

The 18 months Leadership Talent Track offers you the following aspects:

  • Onboarding within predefined home area

  • Work within different national and international projects, related to your homearea

  • Get to know our customers

  • Build up an intercultural and social network

  • Get access to various training and development offers, e.g. regarding our leadership culture

  • Get support and guidance by your personal executive mentor

  • After 18 months of successful and intense training you will return to your home area. Your new skills, experiences and your global network will be supporting you on your journey towards a leadership position.

    Your home area could be in one of the following departments:

  • Our Own Retail Europe controls the sale, marketing & service of Mercedes-Benz and Fuso trucks & parts in more than 15 Daimler Truck-owned retail operations in 6 European market

  • Our Procurement department, is responsible for more than one billon Euro procurement volume per year. We develop and implement procurement strategies with our colleagues in Detroit, Sao Paulo, Tokyo, and Chennai

  • The Human Resources representatives of the sales markets and locations in Europe, Overseas and China support the local HR Business Partners by implementing HR initiatives and advising the managers and employees

  • The Supply Chain management Gaggenau, has the steering responsibility for the supply chain for heavy duty transmissions and AP axles. We are also responsible for the global documentation method and end-of-production strategy for our conventional and future powersystems product portfolio. In strategic projects we closely collaborate with our sister-departements, such as Network Management, Global Consolidation Center Truck or Supply Chain Digitalization, in order to continuously improve our global production network and supply chain

  • Daimler Truck Financial Services is the largest captive financial and mobility services company in the commercial vehicle industry. We move the world through sustainable and intelligent financial and service solutions. You will get to know different areas of the financial and mobility services company, such as operations, risk management or strategy and have a chance to visit our local entities worldwide

  • THAT’S WHY YOU ARE A MATCH

  • Bachelor/Master of Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economic & Business Education, Banking/Finance, Communication Management, Psychology or comparable field

  • Proficient in written & spoken English

  • Interest in growing into a leadership position in the future

  • Willingness to travel abroad

  • Excellent communication skills & self-structured

  • A start-up mentality, that means you are enthusiastic, motivated and pragmatic

  • If you move confidently in an intercultural environment, have a global and innovative mindset and are willing to question the status quo with new ideas and perspectives, then we are a good match.
